I totally forgot that I ordered this, and when I got it I just assumed it was ginger tea. So made a 16 ounce cup using 2 bags- my usual method. I kept it hot, but eventually added some to a cup of ice. I let it steep forever. I just keep the bags in.As I sipped, I noticed that I didnt pick up on a strong ginger as I anticipated. I love all things ginger, and regularly drink ginger tea. I thought this tasted a little sweet, and more like green tea--which I also drink daily. But gentler. I thought the flavor nice, but was perplexed. SO I came back to the product page and "remembered" that this is a GINGER, GREEN TEA, BLACK TEA, and STEVIA blend.It's good. Makes for a pleasant iced tea for sure. I dont think it is too sweet, and I tend to not eat/drink much sugary stuff right now. The green tea is evident to me. The black tea, not so much. ,Yet there is a depth of flavor, so I bet that is it. Yeh, now that I am sitting here savoring it, I can pick up on the black tea. Gosh, this is really nice. All I can describe it as is an easy mellow tea.I can totally do with more ginger, but I have loads of plain ginger tea I can add to this. As is, I can drink this every day. I think it would be perfect for someone who doesnt love green or black tea yet wants to drink it for health. This is mild, and I think very easy to drink. Just have to not mind it sweetened.Normally I dont want Stevia, but this is perfect to me.I am sensitive to caffeine so I really hope I am not affected by this drink that I unwittingly made at nearly 5 pm.Nicely packaged, fresh, and in good durable packets. Best by is 2 years out. This will be gone this month, haha.Includes recipe suggestions. Product of Vietnam.I was going to go with 4 stars because it is labeled as "Ginger tea" but the box does give ingredient list as well as percentages of each (45% ginger, 30% green, 15% black, 10% stevia). The product description also says whats in it. SO.. yeh, my mistake. BUT OVERALL a good one to me.I am instantly in love with it, and will likely buy more when the time comes. Just a great way to get my green and black tea in, as well as enjoy my love of ginger (could be stronger, but I have various ginger products I can use to amp that up). I am going with 5 stars.Try not to sniff it from the packet. Gave myself a good sneeze, lol
I found the LeafLea Ginger Green Tea Blend to be very smooth, fragrant, and have a spicy ginger flavor. I didn’t think the addition of stevia was overdone but would prefer it to be omitted. I thoroughly enjoyed this tea and would highly recommend it to all tea lovers out there!
This is very tasty tea. I am sipping a cuppa right now as I write this review. I think I'm getting more of the black tea with just a hint of the ginger and it is terrific. A very tasty alternative to my normal coffee addiction.Very glad I got this. It's tasty and wonderful!
